Ok, I have a hand mixer, but it only has thin wire whisks attachments. do i need a "Flat beater"?

the wire whisk things can't do butter, sugar I don't dream up, it'll get all clogged & they are kind of delicate (more for egg whites I guess?). The other attachments are principled dough hooks or immersion


Yes - the stand mixers are well turned out to do the heavy work, but I just use a sturdy wooden spoon for mixing the dry ingredients into the cookies. Equitable make sure your wet ingredients are well blended - then slowly add they dry with some obliging
