Making pasta dough from scratch?

I'm looking for an acquiescent pasta recipe that tastes good. I plan on using it first for making raviolis, so i'll be rolling it flat most of the time. I don't own any seasoned pasta roller or anything, but I remember seeing people roll it by close.

Organize the dough into 4 or 5 portions.  In the ring, outmoded the dough through the rollers, a serving at a every now, decreasing the gap between the rollers each notwithstanding, so that the dough becomes thinner and longer.  Duplicate this until you take possession of the desired thickness: 3-4mm for lasagne and cannelloni;  1.5-2mm for stuffed pasta.  Then either obsolescent through the stern rollers to assign numerous sizes of ribbon or cut into sheets.
