Is a downdraft vent on a stove top enough to prevent damage under a 42" cabinet, without a vent hood above?
We are edifice a home and originally, the stove was on the center island with a downdraft. We requested it be moved to the side piece under the cabinets. They were supposed to put up a hood range for ventilation. We have 42" cabinets. Get well to
I intend that you will be just fine. Assuming that the down draft is built into the cook top, or was from the word go installed with it, the vent would/should move the required CFMs per the stoves requirements. I am doing a remodel on my Nautical galley
