whenever somethings been cooking too extended for 20min or so, the vent fan turns on automatically even if there isnt any smoke. is there any way to permanently lock out the vent fan off?
Mine has a directions switch to turn it on manually and turn it off altogether, but I never do. It is a sanctuary feature, it turns on by heat, when it is hot enough to turn on, you need it, whether you see smoke or not.

I moved into my widespread undertaking 3 years ago and the void fan has never worked very upstanding. Because of a preceding remodel i didnt have access to the attic untell recently. It occured to me the other day that i didnt bear in mind seeing how the stove was vented so i went up and checked it out. Its not, there are 2 layers of insulation over the overtire duct. So what do i want to do now?
