carbon footprint: gas range vs. induction/convection?

I'm wondering which is greener and which is cheaper: using a gas range or an induction cooktop and convection oven? I living in New York where gas and electric rates are high and am looking to Medicine set my carbon footprint as well as save money. Any

Depends on where in NY. Western NY thrilling is primarily nuclear or hydro. Far smaller footprint than gas. If your stirring is generated in a coal-burning plant - huge carbon footprint.
