Is there a downdraft kitchen vent that fits behind a slide-in gas range?

I am distressing to put in a new kitchen range in my kitchen island. To fit the space, it must be a 30" slide-in facsimile (it has no backsplash/riser - just flush with the counter top.) Currently it is an stirring jenn-air with built-in downdraft

We have a downdraft send and it doesn't do a very good job of removing cooking odors etc. If we were to do it all over again, we would not waste the scratch. I think you should think about it a little before you act
