No we old timers hand-me-down outlets just like the kids do now. You may have to change the market from a 3 wire to 4 or the shape may have changed, but that is not that expensive to fix.

Intrusive if you have heard anything back from Whirlpool or the forum because I am in the exacting same situtaion with my resentful drinking-glass top range. Very disatisfied with the grandeur and what is taking place. This is my assist one from lowes as they exchanged out the first one as it was in the first 30 days!!!, now unsure what to do to get the scalding off?
